There are over 7 million Office 365 licences in the UK and 92% of Teams users don’t have the ability to make external calls. If you’re worried about Teams calls being costly and inflexible, you don’t have to be.
Daisy’s Direct2Teams, based on Gamma technology, provides Direct Routing for Teams architecture to enable full voice capability natively into Microsoft Teams. If you are using Microsoft Teams as your unified communications tool, then you can implement Direct Routing.
There are two ways of making calls from Microsoft Teams; you can either use a Microsoft Calling Plan, or use Direct Routing for Teams. Direct Routing for Teams is the flexible, accessible and cost-effective alternative to Microsoft Calling Plans, allowing you to make calls external to your business from Microsoft Teams.
Cost effective – you can use your existing Office 365 license costs
Direct Routing for Teams allows you to maximise existing Office 365 license costs with per-user pricing – simple and intuitive for any Microsoft Teams user. There are two licence packages which enable users to access Direct Routing via Microsoft Teams. It allows users of Microsoft Teams with an E3 + Microsoft 365 Business Voice without Calling Plan licence or an E5 licence to make calls. Daisy will ensure a seamless transition when connecting any Microsoft Teams user to voice, whether you are migrating from an onsite PBX, an alternative VoIP product or Skype for Business.
How Direct Routing for Teams works
Direct Routing for Teams is built as a bespoke dedicated architecture specifically for Microsoft Teams. It is not sweating an existing architecture or product set. It is a stand-alone deployment using Microsoft compliant session border controllers which are embedded within the Gamma network. There are triple entry points into Microsoft to support one capacity into the Azure network which provide multiple points of resilience. Direct Routing for Teams has built resilience and high availability as core aspects of the architecture.
