Majority of organisations expect up to half their employees to keep working from home over the next year.

More than two thirds (68%) of organisations would provide their homeworkers with a dedicated, managed connection to their corporate network, according to research commissioned by Daisy Corporate Services (DCS), a leading provider of secure IT, communications and cloud services. This comes at a time when organisations say that shared broadband connections (40%), remote working cybersecurity risks (40%) and connectivity performance (39%) have been the biggest technology challenges they have faced during lockdown.

Step Away From The Server: Daisy Announces Combined Contracts for IT Disaster Recovery and Virtual Recovery So Customers Can Stay “Hands-Free”

The advent of a global pandemic has been a voyage of discovery for many. For some of Daisy’s business continuity customers, it included the realisation that having equipment on a physical disaster recovery contract is suddenly less appealing when you are trying to avoid contact with a widespread and deadly virus.

Steve Collins, a recovery consultant at Daisy, explains that, “It’s been a nervous time for us and our customers. When we visit customer sites, we’re at the mercy of how well that particular customer is following social distancing and personal safety measures.”

Cloudmore Partners with Daisy to Streamline Subscription Management and Billing

Daisy to use Cloudmore automation platform to accelerate the adoption of its cloud solutions.

Daisy Corporate Services  has partnered with Cloudmore to power up its cloud subscription services business. Daisy will integrate the Cloudmore platform to automate internal management processes, offer self-service to their customers and automate end-to-end financial reconciliation and billing processes. The Cloudmore portal forms part of Daisys flagship hybrid cloud offering “CloudBridge”.

The Cloudmore subscription management platform is used by some of the world’s largest service providers to streamline the procurement, management and delivery of IT products and services. Daisy plans to use Cloudmore to simplify the procurement and provisioning of services such as Microsoft O365 and Azure – all of which are critical services in the Daisy CloudBridge proposition. This partnership also forms part of a move to consolidate and centralize internal processes, making it easier for sales, provisioning, finance and support to manage a growing number of customer accounts.

Michael Wicander, Cloudmore’s CEO commented: “We are delighted to welcome Daisy Corporate Services on board. Daisy is a significant force in the UK market. We look forward to a close relationship and to providing Daisy with the opportunity to scale and expand their cloud service offer to customers.”

“The Cloudmore platform will really benefit Daisy and its customers. It will enable them to self-serve and will automate and streamline key processes and data for our teams— all from one single, easy-to-use, feature-rich portal, all of which will be integrated with our CloudBridge hybrid cloud proposition” said Richard Beeston, Head of Product at Daisy Corporate Services.

Once the Cloudmore project is complete, Daisy will be able to deliver an optimised digital customer experience for Cloudbridge customers using enhanced tools that allow end-users to flex products and licenses up and down, reconcile detailed costs and view their public-cloud consumption and usage breakdowns. Daisy will also be able to diversify its CloudBridge portfolio of services by adding internal services, new vendors, or adding services already integrated into Cloudmore.
