How Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams works

Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams is built as a bespoke dedicated architecture specifically for Microsoft Teams. It is not sweating an existing architecture or product set. It is a stand-alone deployment using Microsoft compliant session border controllers which are embedded within the Gamma network. There are triple entry points into Microsoft to support one capacity into the Azure network which provide multiple points of resilience. Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams has built resilience and high availability as core aspects of the architecture.
